2006 saw an amazingly challenging race at the WPSA PowerSports Super Quad Pro 450 ATV series this year with Doug Gust taking the title and Dustin Wimmer lagging behind in the second spot by only 2 points. As frustrating as the loss was, this year Dustin Wimmer is ready to get on his ATV for the 2007 challenge and this time, his teammate is none other than the man who ousted him this year…Doug Gust. The Suzuki/Yoshimura team will be campaigning full force for the 2007 racing season with this amazing combo. Suzuki/Yoshimura won the Manufacturers Championship this year.

And since everything's working out so well for the team, why stop? Suzuki/Yoshimura will continue to be a sponsor for the WPSA Powersports ATV tour And they, WPSA, is all too happy to concede. CEO of Powersports Entertainment, Rick Murphy stated that he is pleased to partner with American Suzuki again this year as they, Suzuki, hs proven this year how valuable a partner they truly are. He continues to say that he is excited that Suzuki will continue to be a partner next year.

Admittedly, WPSA was truly something else – it is one of the best ATV races ever seen and the 2006 season has been nothing short of incredible for the sponsors, manufacturers and fans alike. WPSA, says American Suzuki Operations Manager, Rod Lopusnak, provided fans with the best, most competitive, exciting race coverage.

Another person who is happy with the 2007 combination is Scott O'Malley, the president of Powersports Entertainment. Suzuki is an established name in the realm of ATVs and has prominently dominated the ATV market for the longest time. And it is this experience and professionalism that helped them dominate the WPSA competition.

It's a pity, though, that talented Suzuki/Yoshimura racer, Jeremiah Jones, will not be on an ATV for season 2007 because of the substantial back injuries her received at the Unadilla GNC race. However, all is not lost for Jones as Suzuki/Yoshimura sees value in Jones' contribution behind the scene. Jeremiah Jones will, for 2007, back team Suzuki/Yoshimura is coaching riders, helping with the setup of chassis, and coordinate the team.
