The stealth ATV – camouflaging
|
Camouflaging an ATV is a common thing these days especially if you take your ATV on hunting rides. With camouflaging, no one (including your friends and family) should know that you're around. Just a trick that will give you an edge over the other ATVs. However, although camouflaging is a fabulous way to make your ATV disappear, there are many other methods you can use to ensure that others do not know you're around. It's not enough to just camouflage it and make it blend in with the surrounding. If stealth is what you're looking for, here is an idea on how to add stealth to your ATV. Camo on an ATV All is fine and dandy if you have an ATV that comes with printed camouflage on it. But what if you don't? Today, manufacturers make it very easy for anyone to add camo to their ATVs. And besides, ATVs that comes camo-ready are more expensive making it close to impossible for many ATV fans to purchase them. as it is, ATVs that comes ready with camouflage is not affordable even without the add-ons and other features that you may want to add to the ATV. That was the bad news…now, here's the good news. ATV producers realize the importance of camouflaging the ATV and they have been frantically developing more user-friendly camouflaging products to meet the requirements of ATV fans. Companies like Moose Utilities, Cabella, Dennis Kirk has been releasing more and more camouflaging options into the market including water-resistant poly or cloth tape that when applied, can hide the entire ATV. And they're really to apply as well…like all you have to do is to clean the ATV, dry the surface of the ATV and then just plaster it on. The adhesive behind the tape or cloth is really strong too and they won't reflect light. If the camouflaging tape reflects light, the whole purpose of applying the tape would be lost, wouldn't it? Anyway, if you're going to for this idea, one word of advice here…get two of it. The reason? What's going to happen when you mess up on the first roll of tape? Ok, if this is your first time applying this camouflaging tape, then go ahead and get two of the same…or maybe even two different designs. The whole point is that you'll have one ready in case you mess up the first one.
