Polaris Trail Boss 330 is no push-over
The Polaris Trail Boss 330 is an old favorite which is the type of ATV that Polaris fans will appreciate for a long time to come. The Polaris Trail Boss 330s run on a 329cc air-cooled engine – compact but power-packed. The ATV can pack up to approximately 125 pounds on its rear cargo area and can tow up to 850 pounds. An impressive feat for an ATV this size, so, Polaris indeed packed quite a few new stuffs into their new release. On last check, the braking system works on a one-lever system squeezing dics with backup pedals on the rear just in case the first option fails.
The 2007 Polaris Trail Boss 330 model is available in a classy red and black scheme.

With that said, it surprised us that even with a comparatively smaller engine compared to its bigger and meaner brothers, Polaris Trail Boss is no pus-over. It's easy to maneuver and costs less than other ATVs with similar capacity. Compare the Yamaha Grizzly which costs $4200 to Polaris Trail Boss which costs $3900, there's a $300 difference in the market price. Edmond Surge, who bought this ATV as his ‘learning machine' said, “ When I first bought this Polaris Trail Boss 330, I was worried that I was going to be left behind all the time. My other more experienced friends had bigger machines and I don't want to look like a fool with a baby-toy. But you know what, at the end of the day, many of my friends said that they were impressed with how powerful and easy to use Polaris Trail Boss 330 is. I've never been stuck on that ATV before…never while the others were stuck one time or another. I have no regrets about buying this ATV ”
Many owners of this ATV knows that this ATV is worth every cent spent on it because it is reliable and packs power on the trails. For one other happy customer, he bought the Polaris Trail Boss 330 for his wife who was starting out on the game. “ I bought Trail Boss as the first ATV for my wife who wanted to learn how to ride ATV with me. Although I needed to make a few modifications on the starter, it was a powerful machine. So much so that my wife ended up getting a smaller 250cc ATV while I took the Polaris Trail Boss as my backup ATV. That's how proud I am of this ATV ” commented Tom Hendrick.
Although we have to admit that it's probably not the fastest ATV in the market today but for the price, it is the best in its own class! Perhaps with a few lazy changes here and there, it would make the machine even better. Another happy customer said that he had to change the clutch spring so that it didn't get bogged down in the mud as much – and with those minor changes, you might be able to take it where other ATVs or other similar models will never be able to handle.
Our opinion is that for the price of the ATV, it's truly a powerful machine. Unless you intend to race with it, this ATV is a good companion whether in sand, mud, rain or snow. Try it and believe it.
