Polaris Predator 90 β Pick of the week
March 21, 2007
If your youth has outgrown his 50cc ATV and starting to get bored with his βtoo safe' ATV, then here's our suggestion β it's time to get him a Polaris Predator 90! For a youth ATV this small, it's pretty big on power! Polaris Predator 90 is a good step-up ATV for youths because it's faster and bigger than its smaller sibling but it's just as safe and comfortable as previous models. Most testers of Polaris Predator 90 ATV fell in love with the ATV the moment they get on it and ride it. For 2006, we've seen many youth ATV fans pick Polaris Predator 90 as their favorite quad and we've heard about testers not returning their test machines because it was good.
No failures for this mighty ATV The great thing about Polaris Predator 2007 is that Polaris has made a few changes that made it more stable. For instance, even if a youth ATV rides the ATV every day for hours on end, it doesn't fail on them easily. This saves the parents quite a fair bit of money on repair and replacement parts. Imagine having to replace the ATV's parts a couple of times a month β it just wouldn't work that way.
Easy shifting on Polaris Predator 90 For one thing, the footprint on this ATV is wide and stable, so, even if your youth gives the ATV a rough turn, it won't topple easily. Many accidents happen because of sudden movements from youth ATV riders, so, it's actually good news to hear how stable the Polaris Predator 90 is for youth riders.
Furthermore, what impressed us more is the fact that this ATV was not only easy to ride, but was smooth and quiet. The shifting is quite easy too although we noted that the gear lever position is a little awkward. But it doesn't hamper gear shifting once the youth ATV rider gets used to this quad.
Polaris makes Predator 90 perfect for girl youths too! What won Polaris brownie points was the fact that in their new 2007 lineup, they came up with girlie version of the Predator 90 specifically catering for girl ATV fans. With the rising number of female ATV riders in the country, I'd say it's a smart move on Polaris' part.
Faster ride by removing limiter Because Polaris designed this ATV as a step-up ATV for youths and young kids, there's a limiter that restricts the speed of the quad. If your youth is just beginning to learn how to ride ATV, keep the limiter there. However, when he or she is a little bit more familiar with his or her new ATV, remove the limiter and your youth can go up to about 30mph.
Perfect practice machine for up-and-coming youth daredevils The suspension on Polaris Predator 90, we noticed, is stronger which provides for a smoother ride. The brakes are also better than the 50 so you won't have to worry as much about your youth whenever he or she rides this amazing youth ATV!
