Modifying Mini ATV is a breeze these days

Needless to say, it's totally unsafe to put kids or young teens on an ATV that's designed and made for adults. The idea should be thrown out of the window instantly! But to find an ATV made specifically for kids is kind of hard too…and you'll hear a lot of whining after a couple of months your kids use the ATV. They'll get bored. Yes, you'd get bored too if you had to ride an ATV that's as slow as a snail too. They want an ATV just like yours – something fast because that's what riding ATV is all about – to the kids, anyway. It's totally uncool to have an ATV that is slow.

There are quite a couple of good mini ATV manufacturers who came up with credible ATVs made for kids. For instance, some ATV fans found the Suzuki Minis suitable for kids from age 5 onwards. Some thought the Kawasaki 50 was a smashing machine for kids. Like we said, because these machines are made to accommodate the skill level and ability of kids, boredom might hit pretty quickly.

At some point, you may need to, either, replace or modify their ATVs and add some life to it. Many people are not aware of the fact that Mini ATVs can be altered according to the preference or age of the kid…just like adult ATVs. If you think you'd have to start building your own pipes just to modify the machine, you're in for a surprise. Yes, back in the 60s and 70s, that would be precisely what you need to do…not now.

To add a little bit more spice and life to the youth ATV, you could try to add new pipes, rollers, clutch springs, carbon fiber reeds, big bore cylinders, MX holeshots, replace the carburetor and perhaps even modify it with a tether kill switch. Let me tell you, with a little bit of these changes, your kid will thank you for the NEW experience….until they get bored with it again, that is.
