How to maintain your quad
There isn't much maintenance to do if you don't use the quad too often, however, with that said, we should remind you that regularly checking and maintaining the quad, the performance of the quad will be heightened. And chances of it breaking down in the middle of a fun day are reduced. There is even less maintenance to do when it comes to kids' quads. If you have kids, include them when you're performing a routine maintenance on their quad but do not let them perform it themselves unless they're familiar with the routine or are old enough for the job. On top of knowing their quads better, kids will also learn how to take pride in their machine. Washing and cleaning the quad is important. Kids should be shown how to washing and clean the quad on their own. One of the things that can help them take pride in their quad is the simple cleaning and washing process. Turn this task into a weekend routine and turn it into a responsibility. Of course, you'll have to guide them during the first few times they wash their quads, but when they're familiar with it and when you're sure that they can do it reasonably well on their own, let them do it all by themselves…and then see their face shine with pride when they're done. Go through the owner's manual and see how to check the air filter. And another thing that we have to ensure is the pressure of the tire. This is especially important in the case of kids' quads because kids' quads don't have the same kind of suspension adult quads have, so, the air pressure of their quad tires is an extremely part of proper maintenance. For children aged 15 and above, they can probably handle pumping their quads up all by themselves. Use your discretion because some kids are more mature than others. The most important thing is to teach them how to properly fill it up. Along the way, educate them about how easily fuel will light up and how accidents concerning fuel can be dangerous and fatal. Children should be taught how to lube their quad chains once in a while so that the ride is smoother. And lastly, you should teach your kids how to check the quad's oil level too before riding it.
