Kids and quad power racing

Discuss it>>

Can't help but ask and wonder if it's healthy or safe for kids to get too involved with ATV power racing, can you? This is normal because after all, we're parents. And the thing is that it's easy (too easy) for kids to get too attached to their quads…more so if they get involved in kid-sized ATV quad power racing! But here's news for you…the more involved they are with their quads, the better they will be…in general. Power racing on their ATVs and quads will teach kids loads of stuff and we're listing some of the stuff here.

ATV Power racing teaches kids about discipline

As with all other sports, quad power racing takes discipline. In order for them to race their ATVs properly, they need to be able to train hard and be consistent in their progress. Kids get tired and bored easily; therefore, if they're not discipline, they'll soon quit ATV power racing altogether.

Quad racing teaches kids ‘responsibility'

If the kids get attached to their quads, it's a good thing, so, take advantage of it! Since they're hooked on the quad, let them do as much as they can with the quad, involve them in the cleaning and maintaining process. They will get attached to the quad more and learn how to take pride in their quad. And this lesson will spread to other parts of their lives.

Quad racing with others teach them about good sportsmanship

To be good in something, one would need to be able to handle losing. Losing is an extremely difficult emotion for kids to handle. For the first few times they lose to others, you will have to sit with them and help them handle the emotion. They might even lose interest in quad power racing altogether. Let them know it is OK and help them perform better the next time round.

Most importantly, quad power racing help them learn all about making friends and having fun

ATV riding is fun and racing is even better! You get to make good friends when quad racing and even if you're foes on the track, you're friends off it. It helps establish that no matter what it is that they do to each other while racing their quads, when they're off of it, they're just a couple of kids trying to have some fun!
