Snow time is a good time for kids and adults alike. Perhaps now that winter's here, there's one thing on your mind and that is – it's show time! Time to get your ATV gear out and race around in the snow with the kids or with your friends. ATVing on snow is always fabulous – but here's the thing…don't forget your ATV snow gear! You don't want to end up with a nasty flu bug for all the wrong reasons. And for some reason, although grandma's hand-knitted mittens does a credible job in keeping your hands from freezing over like a death grip over your ATV handle, you can do better than that.

The first and most important victim of a snowstorm when you're riding your ATV is your head. Undeniably the most important part of your body, is it not? So, a ski mask is necessary. Instead of your ordinary ski mask, you should consider investing in ATV ski masks that is made of synthetic materials. They are more effective and are definitely more comfortable. And of course, when we talk about ATV, the ATV helmet is a definite must-have.

We suggest getting a ATV face mask that can be tucked neatly and comfortably under the helmet – something stretchy, affordable, allows for good ventilation, and with wind and water resistant features. Remember, you're racing in ice-cold wind and your face is going to take a lot from the weather, so, investing in something that could offer adequate protection is a good idea.

Some ATV gears offers protection for the neck as well as the lower portion of your face but if you don't have something like that, you should wear a neck protector. This ATV gear is good for those who hates feeling all stuffed-up inside the helmet. Most of the high quality ATV gears should not make it hard for you to wear your goggles because they have a neoprene outer shell and fleece lining for insulation.

Forget about wearing your track suit or your jeans during an ATV outing if snow is expected! If you really want to have fun in the snow with your ATV, invest in a thick, heavy-duty ATV full-bodied attire or a jacket-and-pant combo. Mid-range ATV attires have a venting system, adjustable cuffs, hand warmers, reflective sides and a liner to keep snow, wind and water out.

Snow is good but snow while on ATV can be downright bitter. So, if you want to have fun, remember to gear up.
