It was a big win for Honda’s Frank Batista as it marks his first win in the recent August 4th Duro Extreme Dirt Track ATVA Nationals! The blistering sun was no deterrent for the hundreds of racers who went on full force in a valiant attempt to take the top spot. The fifth round the Duro Extreme Dirt Track ATVA Nationals was help in Ava, Missouri, one of the hottest and most humid states in the country. In fact, the turnout was fabulously enthusiastic and encouraging to the racers.

The race is irrefutably an inaugural event in Ozark Mountain. From the start, Batista took the holeshot, so, he had a good start and he roared on amidst the cheering of crowd. Batista was battling for top position with many other talented and FAST pros at this race but he held on. An interesting thing happened when in the middle of the race, Goodman who is leading points-wise, got a nasty bump and fell behind.

Frank Batista wasn’t the only one who had a great run that day. Other top qualifiers gave the audience a pleasing display of power as well. Others were Mitch Reynolds on his Suzuki, Shane Hitt on Honda was also incredibly good while Harold Goodman on Honda also gave Batista a good run for his money.

However, even though he was challenged by all the top performers during this race, Bastista held on to the top spot ahead of second position Chuckie Creech of Honda. Hitt took the third spot while Zaxh Stanley and Adam Anderson grabbed the fourth and the fifth position that day.
