family friends bond atv riding

It used to be a guys' game…that was many years back before the sprouting of so many ATV clubs and associations. Now, with the active promotion of ATV riding as a safe family and group recreational sport, many more people have taken up ATV riding as their weekend or holiday activity. Just take a look around your local favorite ATV park, ATV trail or ATV tracks and see for yourself! It's good news that many people have come to accept ATVing but what is even more encouraging is that many more girls, women and kids have also taken on the sport! In fact, I've seen a fair number of ‘girls' taking on men and coming out on top!

You see, when ATVing is taken up as family activity, it helps strengthen bonds…especially the kids get to come along as well. Believe you me, when you guys can ride together, you can live together. There was a couple who had problems with their marriage and was facing the possibility of divorce decided to give the marriage one more go by going on an ATV holiday with their 5-year-old kid. During that trip, the wife and child took ATV lessons and they have been together ever since! Sounds corny, doesn't it? But it's true. They started bonding and understanding each other again when they took that holiday trip.

We strongly encourage families and friends to go ATVing together as a group because, firstly, it's never too wise to ride your ATV (especially out in the wilderness in a huge ATV trail) alone and secondly, it's just more fun. The most important thing to remember is, of course, (we cannot stress on this enough) to undergo properly training on how to ride the ATV properly without compromising one's safety. It's even better if you enroll beginners into ATV classes whereby they can learn more about how to ride their ATVs to the max. Kids and youths who take up ATVing as a sport can even master the sport to the extent of turning Pros. This gives youths and kids direction and focus, teaches them discipline and hard work and keeps them away from negative influences.

So, it doesn't hurt one bit to try to get your kids or spouse into the sport. Start by introducing them to ATV safety classes.
